Bill Gates didn't actually invent the computer, him and his clique improved upon the way the computer worked and improved the coding by constructing creative ideas of doing so. Before Gates was interested in computers there was already computers and the BASIC coding set used by beginner programmers. With BASIC you could do a code such as 10 PRINT 2+2 and it would appear on the screen as "4 TIME:0 SECS". Gates and his clique mastered this coding language.
